The Santa Anita A’s provides technical support through it’s Technical Director who can provide advice in repairing and restoring your Model A

Additional support is also available from a group of members called “The Low End Boys” who will provide hands on help and advice with you car problems.

The club also provides seminars from time to time, addressing specific components of the Model A.  See also the Santa Anita A’s Newsletters for Technical Articles.

The car show crowd gazed at the beautiful 1930s era classic and knew the mechanic who restored it was skilled at planishing. What does “planish” mean?

A. Upholstering car seats using brushed felt material that is primarily sheep’s wool.
B. Cutting and polishing tempered glass.
C. Smoothing sheet metal with special hammers and other tools.
